Have you thought about a spare room rental?

Whether you’re staying for days, weeks or months, where is the best place to stay to get the most out of Glasgow? Glasgow is one of only 3 cities in the UK with an underground network, so getting around is easier than you may think. Many students live in West End, the main student area of the city. It has cheap rents (though demand can push them up), a lively social scene and a lot of noise – much like most student areas in the UK! Woodlands sits between the universities and the centre of town and Hyndland tends to be much pricier and much trendier than most student areas. Partick has much history to brag of; former home of the Kings of Strathclyde, host of the first international football match and birthplace of Billy Connolly. With picturesque surroundings, its a great place to live, while Hillhead is a better option for Uni of Glasgow students who want to live as close to campus as possible! If you’re unsure about where to go, why not choose a spare room with a host landlord when you arrive – they can offer inside knowledge of the city, as well as a ready-made friend and guide!
