Find a flatshare in Bristol

Find a flatshare in Bristol

Accommodation | Houseshare / Flatshare | 21/02/17

Bristol is one of the UK’s most dynamic and exciting student cities, with a huge number of students living and studying at the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England (UWE) . Living in Bristol you will have the choice of a huge number of events, attractions and activities, as well as the city’s beautiful unique look. All of this makes Bristol hugely attractive to students, and the student housing market is still expanding. Flatsharing in Bristol is a great way to live in this beautiful city for a reasonable price, leaving you more money to spend on all Bristol has to offer.

Why choose Bristol?

As a student, Bristol’s two universities are very highly respected and offer a wide range of courses. The University of Bristol’s School of Veterinary Sciences and Medical School attract a lot of scientific students, while UWE’s wide range of courses in all fields attract enterprising students. The Bristol Old Vic drama school is one of the best reputed drama schools in the UK. A degree from both universities will set any student on the right course after graduation. The city is vibrant and definitely has its own identity, with easy access to other cities such as Cardiff, Birmingham and London. The nightlife and student life is one of the best and most diverse in the country. It even has Thekla: a bar/night club on a boat! But if that isn’t for you, the city also has a rich cultural history and a wide range of museums, galleries, theatres and live music venues.

Finding a flatshare in Bristol

Like all student cities across the UK, Bristol has its fair share of flatshares and houseshares. Popular student areas include the more expensive City Centre, Clifton and Redlands. Alternatively, you could opt for less pricey and more urban areas such as Gloucester Road, Bedminster and Southville or Kingsdown and Cotham. All the areas offer different things; whether you want to be close to university, have cheaper rents or be in a thriving area, there is an area for you. Rents can also vary depending on the area, but as a city rents are cheaper than cities like London and you can get good value for money. Roomlala has options for flat and house shares in Bristol, as well as spare rooms if you feel that flatsharing is not for you.
